ÖAMTC is the Austrian Automobile, Motorcycle and Touring Club. Founded
in 1896, it is today the largest motoring association in Austria, with 1.8 million
members, and one of ARC Europe’s shareholders.
ÖAMTC is a federal, politically neutral and economically independent membership organization. Its main goal is to provide and secure individual mobility, for their members and customers. ÖAMTC offers various services such as: breakdown assistance on the roads, cross-country technical service centres, rescue helicopter services, medical assistance, legal advice for motorists, touring sets and travel information and
ÖAMTC is a founding member of the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA),
the world-wide umbrella organization for automobile and touring companies and the governing body for motorsports. Through its affiliation with the FIA the ÖAMTC offers world-wide breakdown assistance to its members.
