AtlasCT and Decell to Introduce Traffic Information on the Yellow Pages Map Website in Israel

Atlas' "Map Viewer®" is a popular flash-based mapping program designed to be implemented in internet websites. The viewer program is part of the "AtlasWeb" mapping platform, offering high resolution interactive maps. One of the major features of this platform is the ability to display rich and versatile layers of information, such as points of interest (hotels, gas stations, parking lots, restaurants, etc.) and traffic information. Swift-i traffic® is Decell's premium road traffic information, offering accurate national coverage of the real-time traffic condition on the roads. In the cooperation with AtlasCT, swift-i traffic® is fed and updated constantly on Atlas' map of Israel.
Yellow Pages Israel presents Atlas' maps as an integral part of their website. This new addition of traffic information upgrades the mapping service by allowing users to view the traffic status on the way to their desired destination while searching it on the website. Congested roads are displayed in colors directly on the roads of the interactive maps. Clicking on a colored road opens a text box with details of the specific congestion: traffic load level, exact location, average driving speed and available journalistic information. In addition, a side text table with details of all national traffic congestions is also offered.
