Decell's Real-Time Traffic Information Live on TV

TEL AVIV, May 8th, 2008 - Decell Technologies, the global leader in the provision of mobile network based accurate real-time traffic information, today announced the availability of its real-time traffic information on Israel's national Channel 2 TV programs.

Decell is proud to announce a unique multi-party cooperation project that allows the general public to receive real-time traffic information live on Channel 2. Based on Decell's Technology and with its partners Pelephone and OK2GO, Channel 2 is starting today periodic broadcasts of the real-time traffic situation on Israel's roads. Decell's traffic information is based on cellular data provided by Pelephone and covers the entire road network of the state of Israel.

Israel's Independence Day is a national holiday where many enjoy the outdoors. Consequently, many of the main roadways become congested during most of the day. The new service from Channel 2 is intended to update travelers on where the traffic hotspots are and how to bypass them.

The service launched today, will become an integral part of the morning and afternoon tv-shows during the rush hours. In addition, Channel 2 will be able to cut into any running program, in case of an exceptional traffic event.

Dani Sadeh, VP Operations at the Channel 2 News Company said that "the development of the service in an optimal way took about a year following a successful pilot broadcasted on the evening of Passover in 2007. During the past year, we have been working on establishing a traffic information system and this is the first service in a series of advanced products in the transportation space that will be launched soon."
